Bienvenue aux toiles du soleil, tissus traditionnels catalan (métrages, nappes, serviettes, sacs, transats...)

All our fabrics have been woven by craftsmen, with the use of first quality pure cotton threads. This twined thread called "retors" in technical terms, is made of two threads rolled together to produce one final thread. We use this type of thread in the weft as well as in the warp, which gives our product this somewhat rough touch.

The natural colour of cotton is off-white. Its coloration, specific to "Les Toiles du Soleil", comes from a staining process named "grand teint". This quality of dyeing guarantees that colours do not easily fade away.
