In 1994, Sans & Garcerie was the only remaining textile manufacture in the area and was about to close, which would have resulted in the disappearing of the most important local employer.
Françoise and Henri Quinta, both of Catalan origin, fell under the spell of the manufacture and its history. Charmed by the authenticity of the traditional fabrics, they imagined how to use them as interior decorating material. As decorator and interior designer, they took their chance and bought the textile manufacture and gave it the name of : "Les Toiles du Soleil".
